Darren Goad
Darren Goad is the Director of Choral Activities in Radford City Schools, where he directs all the choral ensembles and helps with musical theatre activities at both Radford High School and Dalton Intermediate School. He also serves as pianist at Glade Church in Blacksburg, Virginia.
Before coming to Radford, Darren taught middle and high school choir along with general music for six years in Marion, Virginia. During his music career, Darren has served as The Virginia Music Educators Association, District 6 and District 7 Choral Representative and has helped to host several secondary choral events in Southwest Virginia. Darren has also served as a substitute pianist in churches throughout The New River Valley, but is most excited to be a part of Glade Church.
